Meet Tarah

Tarah has been deployed to hostile areas and disaster zones in both the Clinician role and also in the overhead operational capacities. As a Board Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner, from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, she has honed her specialties in neurology, surgery, brain and nervous system, stroke, acquired brain injuries, migraines and pain control. This graduate from Texas A&M University, has expanded her studies in both the civilian and military educational systems, to include emergency room, inpatient hospital, mass causality, field pre hospital care and both rotary and fixed wing airborne medical evacuations and transports. Tarah, is the wife of a 20 year Retired Chief officer in the Fire Service. Between understanding the rigors of the balance of her own busy schedule in a medical Neuro/Surgical practice with a major hospital system, her Military career and her husband’s varied fire service schedules, Tarah understands the demands on both her professional and family life. This valuable member of FRTC’s Medical Care “911Overwatch” Team, provides our area first responders with another layer of “Culturally Competent”, health and safety, that FRTC looks to provide.
