Licensed Counselor
Licensed Counselor (Colorado and Wyoming Licensed Counselors)
We are experiencing rapid growth in our niche area of counseling, as such we are seeking expressions of interest for the Licensed Counselors
Must have demonstrable knowledge and/or licensure in the following areas:
Required
Fully licensed in the State of Colorado or Wyoming, with a minimum of 2 years post independent licensure as:
- LPC; or
- LSW; or
- PhD; or
- PsyD; or
- LMFT
- Please do not apply if you are provisionally licensed UNLESS you are a former or current First Responder which includes the following categories; 911 dispatcher, fire, law enforcement, ems, corrections, nursing or in-patient behavioral health facility provider
- Previous experience as a First Responder or equivalent or evidence to support experience working with the First Responder Community up to and including hospital in-patient staff and Behavioral Health Facilities/Addiction Treatment Facilities
- Required experience in one or more of these therapies; Couples, Trauma, EMDR, Family Therapy, Addiction Therapy
- Available to work upwards of 5 hours per week or more – additional details at interview
Required Education
Master’s or Doctorate
Highly Desirable
- EMDR Certified (or evidence of recent training or intention to complete training within 12 months of contract)
- Brainspotting Trained or Certified
- CAC II Certified
- Prior private practice experience
Compensation
Compensation is on contracted terms and based on skills & experience and will be discussed at the interview stage. Candidates must have access to private office space and be available after hours as required.Candidates will also be required to participate in FRTC’s Peer Support Academy prior to commencement of contracted services and will be required and expected to uphold First Responder Trauma Counselors values and ethics.
